Social Media Links Finder
Find a website's social profiles and handles
What Is the Social Media Links Finder?
The Social Media Links Finder scans a page for the social profiles a brand links to, across more than 35 networks from X, LinkedIn and Instagram to GitHub, Discord and Trustpilot. It pulls the handle out of each profile URL, notes where it was found (a visible link, the sameAs list in structured data or a Twitter card tag) and lists the major networks with no link at all.
Key Features
Profiles, Not Share Buttons
Most pages are full of social links that aren’t profiles: share buttons that carry the page’s own URL, embedded posts and video links. Those are filtered out, so what is left is the set of accounts the site actually points people to, each with a clean handle you can copy.
Why sameAs Matters
Search engines connect a brand to its profiles through the sameAs list in Organization structured data. The finder compares that list with the visible links and flags profiles that appear in one but not the other, a common gap after a rebrand or a new account.
Common Use Cases
- Building a list of a prospect’s social accounts before outreach
- Checking your own site's profiles and sameAs markup agree
- Mapping where competitors are active
- Finding official accounts to verify a brand is real
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Social Media Links Finder free?
Yes. It's free with a ProxyHorizon account, and every account gets 25 runs a day shared across all our data tools. You can read about the tool without signing in, but running it needs an account because each run fetches live data.
Does it scan the whole site?
It scans the page you enter. Social links usually sit in the footer of every page, so the homepage is the best place to start.
Why is a profile I know about missing?
The tool only reports profiles the page links to or declares in its markup. If a network is missing, the site doesn’t point to it from that page.
Which networks does it recognise?
X, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, GitHub, Reddit, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Medium, Substack, Twitch, Spotify, Trustpilot, G2, Crunchbase, the app stores and more.
Do you store my results?
No. We log which tool you ran, what you entered and when, so we can apply the daily limit. Results aren't saved, so export them as CSV or JSON if you want to keep them.
