About this tool

What Is the Instagram Post Tracker?

Paste up to 20 Instagram post or reel links and the Instagram Post Tracker reads each one: likes, comments, plays for reels and videos, when it went up, whether it carries a paid partnership label, who's tagged, its hashtags and its caption. Use it to report on a campaign, compare creators' posts or see how a single post is doing.

Key Features

Up to 20 posts and reels per run, with duplicates removed
Likes, comments and plays for every post
Paid partnership labels, tagged accounts and hashtags
Likes per post and per account, charted
Reels compared with photos and carousels
Full captions in the table, exportable as CSV

Campaign Reports Without Screenshots

Influencer campaigns tend to end with a spreadsheet of links and a folder of screenshots. Paste the links instead and get one table with every post’s numbers, ready to export. Run it again a week later for the new totals.

Paid Partnership Labels

Instagram adds a "Paid partnership" label when a creator tags a brand as a sponsor. The tracker shows which posts carry it, a quick way to check that sponsored posts were disclosed.

Comments per 100 Likes

Likes come cheap; comments take effort. The comments per 100 likes column shows which posts started a conversation. A post with fewer likes but more comments per 100 is often the one worth a closer look.

Common Use Cases

  • Reporting on an influencer campaign
  • Checking that sponsored posts carry the paid partnership label
  • Comparing how different creators' posts performed
  • Watching a post's likes and comments in its first days

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Instagram Post Tracker free?

Yes. It's free with a ProxyHorizon account, and every account gets 25 runs a day shared across all our data tools. You can read about the tool without signing in, but running it needs an account because each run fetches live data.

Which links work?

Links to public posts and reels, like instagram.com/p/… or instagram.com/reel/…. Posts from private accounts and deleted posts can't be read, and the result lists any that couldn't.

Why is a like count missing?

The account has hidden likes on that post. Instagram doesn't show them to anyone else, so the tracker leaves them blank rather than guessing.

Does it track posts over time?

Each run is a snapshot of the numbers at that moment. Run it again later to see how they've moved.

Do you store my results?

No. We log which tool you ran, what you entered and when, so we can apply the daily limit. Results aren't saved, so export them as CSV or JSON if you want to keep them.
